How would you describe your photography style?
We are documentary and candid photographers first. We prefer to capture the day as it naturally unfolds rather than stopping you every five minutes to pose. However, we also love creating those warm, "golden hour" portraits. We aim for images that feel honest, emotional, and timeless.
Do you edit your photos? Can you photoshop us?
Yes! Every photo you receive is hand-edited for exposure, color, and sharpness to ensure it meets our high standards. We also perform standard retouching (removing temporary blemishes like a pimple or a bruise). However, we do not perform heavy body alterations (like changing body shape). We believe in capturing you as you authentically are.
Are you LGBTQ+ friendly?
Absolutely. We get asked if we’re inclusive. To quote Sophia Petrillo: 'Frankly, I'd rather live with a lesbian than a cat. Unless a lesbian sheds; that I don't know.' We’ve seen it all, we love everyone, and as long as you don't shed on the dance floor, we're ready to document your story. We believe that love is love, and we are honored to document it in all its forms. Everyone is welcome in front of our lens.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! We understand that a wedding is a big investment. We are happy to break your payments into smaller increments to fit your schedule.
Do you bring backup equipment?
Always. We carry backup cameras, lenses, batteries, and memory cards for every event. We know you can't re-do the big moments, so we come prepared for any technical failure.
What if I'm awkward in front of the camera?
Don't worry, 90% of our clients say this! Our "unposed" approach is perfect for people who hate posing. We won't make you do stiff prom poses. Instead, we'll give you prompts (like "walk towards us and try to make her laugh") that create natural movement and genuine smiles.
What happens if it rains or things go wrong?
That’s where our background shines. James spent his career in high-stakes emergency services managing real-world chaos. We don't panic when the weather turns or the timeline shifts. We adapt. We’ve found that some of the most cinematic, honest moments happen in the middle of the "unplanned." We come prepared for the grit, not just the glamour.
How do we book you?
It's simple! Fill out our contact form with your date and details. If we are available, we'll set up a quick chat (phone or video) to make sure we're a good fit. To secure your date, we require a signed contract and a deposit.
Who exactly will be at our wedding?
When you book an 8 or 10-hour package, you get both of us. James is the lead photographer, focused on the "grit" and the grand story. Sarah manages the "architecture" of the day. She handles the logistics, the timeline, and the fine details. We work as a single unit to ensure nothing is missed while you stay in the moment.
