Martha & Tina: An Editorial Study
A narrative study in Madison, WI, focusing on the neoclassical grandeur of the State Capitol and the storied, academic intimacy of the UW Historic Library.
The Narrative
There is a specific gravity to a wedding held within the limestone walls of the Madison State Capitol. This study follows Martha and Tina through the soaring architecture of their ceremony into the hushed, intellectual warmth of the UW Historic Library.
The day was a balance of contrasts: the public scale of the Capitol’s rotunda against the private, whispered moments between the stacks of the library. We focused heavily on the interplay of light against the historic woodwork and the unscripted joy of two people navigating a city they love. It was a celebration that felt both timeless and deeply personal, recorded with a focus on the atmosphere that only these storied Madison landmarks can provide.
